Donnie Darko Limited Edition UHD Replacement Programme

As many of you are aware, some customers are encountering issues with our limited edition UHD release of DONNIE DARKO (FCD2113 / AV341). Resolving this issue has proven more complex than originally anticipated but we have a solution in place.

If you have purchased a copy of our limited edition 4K UHD release (FCD2113 / AV341) you will be eligible for a replacement of Disc 1 (Theatrical Cut). Replacement discs are ready and shipping now. If you ordered directly through the Arrow website, replacements have all now shipped.

Please note that all new copies of the limited edition have the corrected disc included. The corrected disc is identified by ‘V2’ written on the disc after the catalogue number.

Please also note that if you have bought the re-release/standard edition (FCD2234 / AV409), you do not need a replacement disc. This edition uses the same master as the aforementioned replacement discs and is unaffected by the manufacturing issue. These discs will not have V2 written on them as they are a new, separate release.

All replacements for direct orders have been sent out to to customers.

***Orders Via Other Retailers (Amazon, Zavvi, HMV etc.)***

Please contact us via your Arrow account or via social media with a copy of your proof of purchase attached along with your shipping address in order to receive the disc. Please also confirm the catalogue number written on the side of your copy, for the limited edition this will be either FCD2113 or AV341.

If you no longer have access to your proof of purchase then please write the date and your full name on the face of your affected disc and attach the photo to your message, this will count as your proof of purchase. Please make sure this is directly on the disc itself and not on paper or anything else on or near the disc.

Q: What is the issue?

A: On select players, the theatrical cut of the limited edition exhibits persistent jerky motion/stuttering through its running time.

Q: I have 2 or more copies of DONNIE DARKO, will I receive 2 replacement discs?

A: You will receive the number of replacement discs matching the number of copies bought on your order.

Q: What counts as a proof of purchase?

A: A copy of your order confirmation from your retailer. Please make sure we can identify this proof as unique to your order.

Q: What can I do if I no longer have my proof of purchase?

A: Please write the date and your full name on the face (picture) side of your DONNIE DARKO disc and attach the photo to your message with the requested information, the date and name must be written directly onto the disc itself. This will count as your proof of purchase.
