Stranger Things: The Complete Series | Deluxe Edition 4K UHD

Firstly I want to say that I love this set and I can’t believe it arrived early. Great special features, presentation and extras. It’s amazing that this came to Arrow and that we have Stranger Things on physical media at all. It’s a must for any Stranger Things fan! I’ve got 2 big issues with the box and sleeve design. It makes absolutely no sense that the box opens and displays from the back. (The lid comes off the top, but the side that reveals the spines is at the back.) I don’t buy the argument that this was done to preserve the image on the front of the box. The lid design could’ve been easily flipped to the other side so that it opens in a way that makes sense. The sleeves are very nice and there were some added premium details I wasn’t expecting, but I’m not sure why they chose for Season 4 to have a clear sleeve. The image concept is very cool, however having the clear sleeve means that it doesn’t match the rest of the seasons and it looks uneven in an otherwise beautiful display box. Also it defeats the purpose of having reversible art because now the art doesn’t match the clear sleeve and the spine is different to all the other sleeves. These felt like amateur design flaws for what is a £200 premium boxset, that is otherwise beautifully designed and presented.

ARROW!!!! Holy crap! Are you kidding me?!!?!! This is probably the best piece of physical media I have seen in my life. The detail from the season 4 o-ring to the arcade token. Every time I thought it was fine another surprise popped out. All this with the series on UHD unbelievable value too - if you’re looking at these boxes do it - it’s worth every penny and will be a treasured piece in your collection forever

This is for me the best release Arrow has ever done, To be able to have the whole series in 4K is brilliant. All the details from the box it’s housed in, The reversible artwork, The slipcovers, the posters, The booklets, postcards, pictures. I Believe it’s a more than fair price too, Considering all the detail throughout! If you was unsure about picking it up I’d definitely recommend it.

Owning this phenomenal series and it looks absolutely phenomenal in 4k 🔥 Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos stunning. Thanks to Arrow Video we are getting so many great good old classic movies and movies are finally getting the love they deserve and the great upgrade also! ⚡ Would be Awesome if Arrow Video would do Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul sometime next year in a big box 🙏 That would be my dream come true.

There's a certain irony that one of streaming's biggest success stories receives one of the finest physical media releases of recent years. Arrow Video hasn't simply archived Stranger Things; they've preserved it properly. In an era where digital libraries can disappear overnight and streaming quality fluctuates depending on bandwidth, this release guarantees that one of television's defining series can be enjoyed exactly as intended for decades to come. Yes, it's an expensive set, but premium collector's editions should feel premium, and this absolutely does. From the exceptional audiovisual presentation to the lavish packaging and wealth of bonus features, every aspect justifies its place on the shelf. For existing fans, this is an easy recommendation.

But where is the subtitles for the special features? Yes, I know that ArrowFilms is famous for this but it would be nice to have that option available as I'm full deaf and missed out on the special features once again. Perhaps something to consider for the future releases of other titles to have them added in? As for the other fault, the box sleeves doesn't really work with the reversible art covers at all. The other special features such as the collectors' booklet, posters, Arcade Coin and the D20 dice is well made. It does feel and look like a very high premium product.

Nicely detailed box work and things that are unique. Quality is good and love having posters for all the seasons... took awhile to get to me but it was worth the wait. Now just waiting for a few more of.my fans to come out.

I've pre-ordered the 4K Limited Edition Boxset in march as a birthday present for my sister, together with my mom, brother-in-law and their two sons. My sister is a huge fan of this Netflix series. Her Birthday was on 20 July, released the 27th, but got it at her adress almost two weeks before release. What a wonderful surprise it was and again Arrow did justice to another great release. The packaging is beautiful, great picture and audio quality so far and many extra gifts. Can't wait to hear more of her reactions.

The box itself is very high quality, and I love the artwork. However, that same quality does not hold true for the disc covers themselves. They are a mix between paper and plastic, making them feel out of place in the set. I also did not expect standard Blu-ray cases to be used, as every other box set I own uses either steelbooks or digipacks. On the positive side, the video quality is outstanding and leaps and bounds better than the Netflix stream. I was genuinely blown away. The communication surrounding the content could be better. When behind-the-scenes content was advertised, I expected new material. However, most of it is identical to the BTS videos Netflix published on YouTube. Some videos even still include the Netflix YouTube end cards, so it appears they are just the YouTube uploads without the aggressive compression. Finally, one of my discs arrived defective. I contacted support for a single-disc replacement, but they do not offer individual disc replacements and required me to return the entire set. I refused a full box replacement because I had already hung up the posters and used the stickers, and a replacement set would likely not arrive in time for an upcoming signing event. Support refused to accommodate a single-disc swap despite the circumstances.
