I adore this movie, so to be able to own such a high-quality version of it is incredible. The extras included are amazing too, as someone who deals with media history its invaluable to have these extras so close at hand. A joy for anyone who loves physical media, well worth it.

Winona Ryder is perfectly cast as Veronica, grounding the film with a much-needed emotional core that offsets Christian Slater’s electrifying and dangerously nihilistic performance as J.D. Their chemistry is impeccable, driving an inventive script packed with razor-sharp irony and endlessly quotable dialogue that never softens its edge or underestimates the audience.
