My favourite Arrow release, the picture quality is astounding. I've long loved this film and there is one extra here that is a must for any fan. There is another version of the movie, director Joe Dante's original edit, a direct transfer from his own video tape (yes this full extea film is in 1980's video quality). This is pure joy with a funny script, a fantastic cast and directed with panache as a homage to scary thrillers of the past. Essential.

A fun horror comedy from the director of Gremlins. The blu-ray transfer is great and the special features are very interesting.

Joe Dante's The 'Burbs might have been scripted as a horror comedy, but it actually produces some remarkably accurate observations about American Suburbia. The film has been recently restored by Arrow Video and looks wonderful in high-definition.

Arrow have done a brilliant job again. The transfer quality is brilliant. Comes with new art work for the film, including the case sleeve, which is also reversible, so you can choose between original and new. The special features are excellent. The making of documentary with the director and cast is really good. Also, Joe Dante’s full personal VHS work print copy of the film is a cool addition, with an extra feature with Dante discussing the differences made to the theatrical cut. Also with deleted scenes and an alternate ending. Nice addition to a collection.
