As someone who has always considered Hush one of Mike Flanagan's most underrated films, it's fantastic to finally see it receive the physical release it deserves. What makes Hush so effective is its simplicity—a tense, brilliantly executed home invasion thriller that relies on clever writing, outstanding performances and relentless suspense rather than cheap jump scares. Arrow's 4K presentation is superb, with crisp detail, rich blacks and excellent HDR that make the film's nighttime setting even more immersive, while the lossless audio ensures every creak, footstep and moment of silence lands exactly as intended. One of my favourite options included on the release is the "Shush Cut" audio track, and I'd personally recommend experiencing it with the standard colour presentation. The reduced dialogue creates an even more immersive and nerve-racking atmosphere without sacrificing the film's stunning visuals. Combined with Arrow's beautifully designed packaging and excellent bonus features, this Limited Edition is a fitting tribute to a modern horror classic and an easy recommendation for horror fans.
