A long out of print and very neglected classic, gets the genuine love and attention of Arrow that they’ve become so incredibly good at. I’ve been a fan of this movie for decades since I first saw on Moviedrome, the late lamented cult film show with Alex Cox. Outstanding performances from Karen Black and Donald Sutherland in a film that leaves you with a very unclean sense of how grim life behind the frantic search for stardom must have been in the early days of Hollywood. It’s gritty and foul but a truly great film of the 70’s heyday of true auteur film making. An absolute cult classic. Thank you again Arrow
