This movie got so much hard-boiled action that it blew up my house, and I have to move! Besides the amazing restoration from Shout! and the additional colour grading from Arrow, the additional Cantonese Dolby Atmos track is just outstanding, and it bumps up all the action, like explosions, but also the soundtrack. What an amazing soundtrack! The whole packaging again with this chunky box with a double-sided poster and booklet with essays. Amazing stuff. One of the best releases for me, and I have watched it two times in a row already.

Love me some John Woo and actually got the Tartan Video release of this many moons ago on DVD. As soon as I found out that Arrow were going to release a 4k edition well it was a no brainer for me, especially with all the extras here plus the format upgrade I just had to get it and love it.

Amazing restoration, great audio options and impressive range of special features! If you haven’t already gotten this movie this is the edition for you!

John Woo's action masterpiece beautifully restored in glorious 4K. Packaging and extras are top notch as well. A must buy!

This is pretty much the best version of Hard Boiled and the only one you'll need. Atmos and Dolby Vision with decent English subs. Lots of great special features to boot.

I've watched this film many, many times over the years. This is by far the greatest version that's ever been released. The restoration is absolutely phenomenal; what a treat to finally watch my favourite movie in such high quality. A fantastic release that is a must have for Heroic Bloodshed fans.

I've had many copies of this movie over the years, from VHS, DVD and Blu-ray. But nothing compares to the quality of this version from Arrow It's a fantastic transfer with great colours and dynamic range. The audio is flawless too. It also comes with some nice features and bonus material which makes it a very nice package.
