Really excited to see that this film is getting a 'proper' UHD 'all bells and whistles' release with extras and the attention it deserves. I would recommend watching in the original mini-series version, not just from a nostalgic personal perspective (as this is the way I originally saw it), but also because I feel it gives the full credit to Stephen King's original novel which documents a whole town, delving into the characterisations and details of the individual citizens. As the write up explains, this mini-series 'scarred a generation' and I can certainly vouch for that! I won't go into spoilers, but certainly some of the scenes from part 1 (I was too scared to watch part 2) are etched into my memory and made sure I slept under the covers for weeks afterwards. I'm looking forward to watching this in UHD, but also looking forward to watching the various extras on offer with this release. Thank you Arrow for releasing this wonderful slice of nostalgic horror from the 1970s!

A side by side comparison of the mini-series and theatrical versions in both this 4K UHD and standard Blu-ray indicates close to zero difference. The additional material and booklet are excellent but if you have the Blu-ray and expect this 4K UHD version to be significantly different in picture quality, you will be disappointed. Still a must have for fans of Salem’s Lot. Great packaging and extras.

The definitive edition of the definitive adaptation. As always Arrow delivered splendid extras and now both versions of the adaptation. Both in 4K. While much better than the international theatrical variant, that one is not bad on its own and was the first version to be seen by me over 30 years ago. Some part of that ending always pleased me yet won't give spoilers. An absolute recommendation, the cast is very good and last but not least the picture quality is rather excellent.

One of the best vampire movies of all time now in glorious 4K. The transfer is absolutely stellar, and so is the packaging and the extras. A phenomenal release!

Amazing….. a premium quality limited edition from Arrow. This is now my favourite piece of physical media on my shelf. I was so looking forward to receiving this and Arrow did not let me down! The booklet is a lot better than most that you receive and to also have a poster and sticker inside, just a great addition. The remastering of the mini series and theatrical version is top notch and you have to take your hat off to Arrow. If you haven’t ordered it yet, get it ordered, you won’t be disappointed!!!

I cannot wait to receive my copy of this absolute classic, on 4k UHD Physical bluray of Salems Lot. This movie terrified me for weeks after seeing it as a child, and a whole generation, So for arrow video to give this the full limited edition treatment on 4k UHD Physical, and with Dolby Vision HDR, We so cannot wait to revisited it again. Also it its coming in 2 cuts, the theatrical cut, and the much better full ministries version, and a vast amount of new extras, bring it on, I preordered this with Arrow Video UK, so cannot wait for that email saying dispatched, I also want to thank especially Arrow Video UK for giving us fans the Salems Lot the treatment it fully deserves on the best format that's 4k physical bluray.
