This one is a personal favourite. Yes, just a "High noon in space", but a very good one. Have watched it many times in different formats, so I can testify that this is a glorious transfer and restoration, the best this move has ever looked in home media, the way it deserves to look. Do not hesitate to get it, really. But... ...the limited edition is very disappointing. First, for the elephant in the room: the new artwork is simply atrocious. In my opinion, ugly, distasteful, reflecting the opposite of what the movie is about. It took me some time to understand what it depicts, yet once I did, it still looks just contrary to the mood of the movie. It looks even worse in reality than in the photos; I glued the old blu-ray cover to hide it, this says all. Then; the second big disappointment: the edition, just like "Lost in space" is on the cheap side, really unworthy to be the first "limited edition". Thin jacket, very few goodies, all low quality. I just wish this particular movie would have had a really good edition, like "In the mouth of madness". Hence, only three stars for the quality of the movie and the restoration, but two less for the artwork and the edition itself. Had I known, I'd have waited for the standard edition, no doubt about this.

Outstanding 4K transfer, absolutely beautiful. The definitive release of this sci-fi classic!

One of the best starring roles of post Bond Connery. For me it is a classic of the genre with its grit. Nice newly made extras. Now, while many will not agree with me, thr new artwork is absolutely fantastic and made me preorder it. It is meant to be divisive I concede though.
