The definitive release of Carpenter's masterpiece. Gorgeous 4K transfer and comes in superb packaging. Extremely recommended!

One of the best Carpenter's movies. This edition is must-have. Awesome slip-package with highly restorated 4K edition of the movie, illustrated book and poster. Great addition to my collection.

With « In the Mouth of Madness », John Carpenter delivers his strangest, most deranged movie ever; a terrifying tale which, at its center, discusses the power of creation, and the place of the author and its spectators. The director probably saw in Sutter Cane -the movie’s antagonist- a lot of himself: a beloved author, largely missunderstood, but who takes joy in shattering their cosy world to reveal who they truly are, through what they truly fear... A masterpiece of haunting imagery and nightmarish storytelling; Carpenter’s best!

Not much to add to other reviews, just want to say this is the way a first, special edition should be packaged...unlike some other recent titles by Arrow. Yes, I'm thinking "Lost in space" and "Outland". This one has a sturdy box, very nice goodies, and an excellent original new artwork that really depicts the movie's mood (yes, unlike the above mentioned). The restoration is glorious, and the movie, one of Carpenter´s best. Don't miss it!

A horror masterpeace, with influencer of Lovecraft and Stephen King, It is a mustvif you love the gender.

Maybe the last real great Carpenter movie is here in a top notch presentation. EXQUISITELY packaged with superb new artwork, extras and a fab video and very powerful audio track. Quite a lot of bass at times. Fully recommended.

First release of this film in the UK since it came out on VHS in the 90’s. One of Carpenter’s best in my opinion. Very Lovecraftian, very surreal, and above all, damn weird. But in a good way. A must have in my book.
