It was really nice to revisit this fun scifi adventure film from the 90s. The 4K transfer looks great. The production design and effects are amazing, especially for the time in which the film was made. Too bad the Apollo 440 music video of Lost In Space is not included as a bonus. The new art work featuring the robot is awesome though and the collector's booklet is an interesting read. Recommended!

The movie itself is worse than I remembered; it has not aged well. The plot is silly, the time travel simply doesn't work, the whole final part feels sort of "forced in", and the acting is surprisingly bad. The special effects were great at the time, but now they are not; their cartoonish looks are only enhanced by the excellent remaster and the very high quality of the UHD. Colors and sound are great. The font size in the booklet is preposterously small, impossible to read properly without a magnifying glass. I am low in stars because, on top of all that, the artwork for the cover is simply ugly, awful, in very bad taste, totally out of touch with the movie. I used the old blu ray cover to hide it. It seems that the forthcoming "Outland" has also a very bad artwork of this type...this is so not good for collectors...Anyway, and regardless all that, if you like the movie, you will not get a better edition.
