From the thrilling fight choreography to the powerful themes of the film, this release is a reminder of just how influential The Way of the Dragon remains. The image is crisp and clean, with vibrant colors that pop, particularly during the iconic scenes set in Rome. The film’s lighting, which was often gritty and atmospheric in its original form, is given new life without sacrificing its vintage aesthetic. The clarity and detail in both the action sequences and quieter moments allow you to appreciate the choreography and camera work in ways you couldn’t before, and the fight scenes—especially the epic showdown in the Colosseum with Chuck Norris—are absolutely thrilling to watch in high definition.
