Unusual for these boxsets is that this one focuses on the work of one director. Luciano Ercoli. The three films in this set are great. Real genre standout. Ercoli had a really great way of exaggerating the tropes of the genre and throwing you for a curveball. I enjoyed watching the three movies and seeing the same stable of actors reused. Usually these boxsets are a nice grab bag of different directors and styles, but this one benefited from seeing a little bit more consistency and letting you soak it all in.
