Intriguing and interesting adaptation - or should I write interpretation? And great release from Arrow, one of the best releases in 2023, even better than Crimes of the Future Limited Edition from Second Sight. Amazing picture and audio quality (movie never looked better) and tons of special features. Ovver five hours of old and new video material including new interviews with Cronenberg´s constat collaborators (Howard Shore, Peter Suschitzky...), lenghthy video essay-interview about Burroughs ouvre and three audio commentaries (two for movies, one old and one new, and one commentary fot documentary!). You should buy this release even if You have the Criterion one because there is little overlap in special features (documentary and partly audio commentary). Naked Lunch and Crash is one of the best Arrow releases of single title, full recommendation.
