I bought this set because there were RWF films in it that I hadn't seen before, such as the Niklashausen Journey. However the stand outs for me were the two films with female leads - 'Mother Kusters' and 'Fear of Fear', which show just how good a director RFW was - what a performance he got from Margit Carstensen in the latter. Least enjoyable was Satan's Brew - the humour was too heavy going for my taste, but what a nutty role for Kurt Raab! The extras in this set are substantial and well worth going through - a mix of contemporary and archive interviews and documentaries featuring the director and his actors . They do add value to the films and get you thinking about what a complex character the director was. Overall, an excellent set.
