This is not the exploitation movie the title suggests, and that's a good thing. The movie is deeper than that. A nice introduction to Somai's cinema.

It’s a fun movie but only for die hard b-movie fans as the plot is fairly slow but when it picks up at the end you get a really fun action scene. 

I had an amazing experience watching this. I’m glad I found Sōmai‘s art thanks to this edition, impeccable restoration, good contrast and colors (valuable documentary inside). Sailor Suit is a beautiful whirlwind and an adventure, a piece of urban fantasy and a pop symphony - needs to be discovered.
