This film drew me in with its absurd, deformed looking practical effects and make-up that i've seen in pictures, and it delivered just that. Story tastes of family drama with a side dish of malformed men. The main course is definitely not the craziness in this tale, make no mistake. At its heart, family problems out the wazoo. I didn't expect it and expected longer term craziness. Didn't get that but hey it's still a great film!
