This movie offers a great combination of the typical excesses of a Ken Russell film and a deeper character study piece, all wrapped up in a sleazy thriller with comedic overtones. There's nothing quite like it, and I love it for that. This edition's technical merits are as usual outstanding.

Crimes of Passion serves you right amount of sex, absurd humour and crazy acting performances. Kathleen Turner and Anthony Perkins are really something in this trashy classic. Definitely worth watching!
