I saw the cut version at the cinema years ago now and I first bought the R1 MGM dvd but now the excellent Arrow blu ray beats every release. It’s a shame to me when the leading actor couldn’t or didn’t  want to be interviewed. Michael Caine was told by his agent not to make a film like DTK again because of the stupid controversy. Instead he makes garbage films like Jaws 4 and Water amongst others. I read some of his autobiography sometime ago and he said De Palma was the most technical director he ever worked with. The film is an excellent US giallo if you like. Brilliant.
