NOW THERE'S A NEW NAME FOR TERROR.

In 1981, Stephen King terrified millions with the release of his novel Cujo. Just two years later, the soon-to-be cult classic screen adaptation was a box office hit, bringing Cujo to an entirely new audience.

While Donna (Dee Wallace, The Frighteners) and Vic Trenton (Daniel Hugh Kelly) struggle to save their rocky marriage, their son Tad befriends a lovable St. Bernard - Cujo. What they don't realise, however, is that a rabies-infected bat bite has transformed man's best friend into a merciless and ravenous killing machine. Now trapped in their broken-down car with this beast on the prowl, Tad and Donna must find a way to escape this hellhound's insatiable hunger...

One of King's favourite adaptations of his own work, experience the terror of Cujo like never before with this definitive 4K presentation.

Problems with 4K disc

3 out of 3 stars, 5 reviews

5 stars for the content and extra features, especially the international cut. But there is a problem with the 4K disc. Colours are extremely washed out compared to the blu-ray of the international cut and my previous blu-ray from another label. Posters on various forums are saying this is due to a colour space error in the encoding of the disc. Not sure how this release made it past QC if this is the case!

Disappointing 4k

3 out of 3 stars, 5 reviews

I watched Cujo last night and was very disappointed in the 4k presentation. The colors are washed out and just looks bad. I was able to somewhat fix the problem by turning off the Dolby Vision on my Panasonic player and setting the the Color Dynamic range to high on my LG OLED TV. Looked better, but still, not the best presentation. The picture looks much better on the Blu-ray of the the International version. The picture also looks better on the menu screens of the 4k disc. Like the previous review said, there appears to be a a colour space error in the encoding of the disc. I give it a 5 for the movie and extensive extras, 1 for the presentation. Hope Arrow fixes the error.
