Arrow Video
From the director of Eraser, The Blob and A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 3: Dream Warriors comes The Mask, a wildly inventive live-action comic book adaptation with Looney Tunes flair, and one of the most iconic comedy films of the 1990s.
Stanley Ipkiss (Jim Carrey), a mild-mannered bank clerk in Edge City, can't bring himself to approach Tina Carlyle (Cameron Diaz), a stunning nightclub singer who's captured his heart. With reality-bending powers and boundless cartoon energy, Stanley becomes a whirlwind of mischief, soon attracting the attention of both the police and a crew of dangerous criminals.

I normally don't leave reviews. I am not the best on the technical stuff. But I really love this movie. It's one of my favourite Jim Carrey movies, and one of my favourite comedy films of all time. It's just so hilarious. Arrow really have knocked this release out of the park. The picture quality is really crisp and sharp (without it being artificially done), and the colours really pop. The details is really clear and impressive, it's so good. I don't have a state-of-the-art soundbar, so can't really say or comment on the Atmos track, but I thought that it was clear I love these limited editions as you get really great extra stuff like the booklet and poster. The books are a great read, and the poster is a nice touch. One of my favourite comedy films had just got a definitive release now, and I could not be more happier. Really impressive release. Well done Arrow Video.

The Mask's playful colour palette really shines in 4k and the image quality has been beautifully upgraded! There are some decent new special features on offer for this release aswell some archival featurettes pulled over from previous editions. Jim Carrey's cartoonish performance is always the draw here - him at his absolute best...

Arrow does it again, they never dissapoint me so far with their restorations/remasters on Blu-ray and on 4K UHD. The Mask is a favorite from my childhood when it first came out, i've had a from TV taped VHS and bought the original DVD, never upgraded it and when i saw the Arrow release coming up, i've had to buy it from their webshop. Beautiful upgraded picture and a great soundmix, also many (old and new) special features. Blind buy if you like this movie, must recommended upgrade, thanks again Arrow!

This movie I watched so many times in the past, and 8 years ago I saw it via a streaming platform in HD, but yeah... I always loved this movie and all Carrey comedy movies. What Arrow did with this release is just gold to me. I watched it five times already, and that never happened to even other great releases. This movie is so goddamn watchable and rewatchable, and the audio quality is top-notch! Go for the Atmos Mix; it boosts the effects so much! Picture quality is just stunning! The colours just pop, and all the detail is just kept in balance! The only nitpick is no Fidelity in Motion Encoding/Mastering and the movie poster that is on cheap glossy paper instead of the high-quality thick layered one. Aside from those nitpicks... Amazing release!!! And I highly recommend this title if you like this movie and/or Jim Carrey movies in general!
