Benjamin Ree co-writes and directs this documentary which charts the rise to stardom of Norwegian chess player Magnus Carlsen, who at the age of 23 became one of the youngest chess grandmasters in history. Featuring archive footage and interviews with some of the leading players on the chess circuit, the film takes a detailed look at Carlsen's rapid progression from exciting child prodigy to multiple world champion.
