From Robert Eggers, the visionary director of The Witch and The Northman, comes The Lighthouse, a hypnotic and hallucinatory tale of two men teetering on the edge of sanity.
Two "wickies" - one inexperienced (Robert Pattinson, Tenet), the other a grizzled veteran (Willem Dafoe, To Live and Die in LA) - arrive on a remote New England island in the 1890s for a four-week stint maintaining the local lighthouse. But as isolation and personal differences take their toll, both men slowly succumb to their inner demons and to the strange, otherworldly allure of the lighthouse itself...
Featuring virtuoso performances by its two leads, striking and period-authentic monochrome photography, and shot through with wickedly dark humour, The Lighthouse is an intense, claustrophobic experience like no other that cements Eggers' status as one of the most exciting filmmakers of our time.

A true modern classic!
A great film, excellently directed, with a very unique atmosphere that immediately captivates you. The acting deserves an Oscar! I highly recommend it to everyone! The picture and sound quality of the publication are beautiful, as we have come to expect from Arrow.

A special art film!
I saw the film for the first time on Blu-ray, unfortunately they don't show this kind of thing in cinemas in Hungary very often. It was very gripping, from the first scene to the very last. It has a very special atmosphere, excellent film, excellent direction, excellent acting! Unfortunately I missed the Limited Edition, but the regular edition looks very good too. This film is a real treasure, I recommend it to everyone!

Looks great!
I have to say it's honestly not my favourite film, however I had to appreciate how well it was shot and the black and white looks brilliant on this disc and I was blown away as it is my first black and white 4k.

Another great arrow release
One of my favourite modern films. If you're a bit misanthropic with a sense of humour, there's a lot to enjoy here. Very thematically rich and an absolute visual feast for the eyes. I took a blind purchase on this, and I'm so glad I did. 5/5
